Bolton postcodes to be without power due to work this week

Three planned power cuts are set to affect residents over the coming week.

Tuesday October 5 will see two houses left without electricity supply.

The following postcodes, based in the Blackrod area will be without power: BL6 5LN.

The reference number for this power cut is 05249N2021.

Two days later, on Thurday October 7, another two homes will have their power cut off.

The postcodes, based off Bury Road, Radcliffe, to be affected are M26 2ZT, M26 2ZT.

The reference number for this power cut is 04642N2021.

Lastly, 20 properties in central Bolton are set to have their power cut on Sunday October 10.

The postcodes for these homes are: BL1 1HQ, BL1 1DT, BL1 1HQ, BL1 1RF, BL1 1BU, BL1 1RF, BL1 1DT.

The reference number for this power cut is 05224N2021.

Electricity North West regularly carry out work across the region to improve the network.

The reasons given for this cut are given as: "We appreciate your patience while our engineers carry out a planned power cut in your area, this is to improve the reliability of your electricity supply and so our engineers can safely work on the cables that provide electricity to your home or business.

"We will get your supply back on as soon as we have finished our work."
