Stephen Wilson
STEPHEN WILSON, aged 33, twice strangled and threw a ladder at his partner, knocking her unconscious. He was jailed for two years.

SOHAIL AHMED, aged 26, threw a speaker at his partner's head the day he was released from prison. He was jailed again for 30 months.

Shaw Dennis
SHAW DENNIS, aged 40, raped a 12-year-old who he met in the street when she asked him for a cigarette. He groomed her and later met up with her, paying her cash for sex. He was sent to prison for eight years.

Michael Gallagher
MICHAEL GALLAGHER, aged 45, burgled a woman's home after she showed him kindness, offering him a spoon to the yoghurt he was eating outside her house. He was jailed for 876 days.

Abdul Said, Sabir Abdulkadir and Ismail Abdullahi
ABDUL SAID, aged 21, SABIR ABDULKADIR, aged 21, and ISMAIL ABDULLAHI, aged 22, armed themselves with a shotgun and fired at a man in a Halliwell street. The incident is believed to have been part of a local "turf war" among criminals. Said received a six years and three month sentence while Abdulkadir, who fired the weapon got 14 years and four months and Abdullahi was jailed for five years and 10 months.

Illie Stefan
ILLIE STEFAN, aged 27, was caught dealing cocaine. He was told he will be deported from the UK at the end of his 33-month sentence.

Patrick Cullen and Regan Sharples
PATRICK CULLEN and REGAN SHARPLES, both aged 21, attacked a brave man to attempted to stop them robbing schoolboys in Bolton town centre. Cullen, who repeatedly stabbed their victim, was sentenced to nine years and nine months in prison while Sharples was jailed for six years.

Matthew Leonard
MATTHEW LEONARD, aged 35, was twice caught by paedophile hunters contacting and arranging to meet what he thought was 14-year-old schoolgirls. He was sentenced to 50 months in prison.

Aiden Aldred
AIDEN ALDRED, aged 27, and smashed his way into a man's home and ordered his accomplice, carrying a machete, to "stab him". A machete was plunged into his abdomen and slashed his hand. Aldred was jailed for 10 years.
